Jessica Walsh
Program Manager, Exchanges, Boston University

Jessica Walsh is the Program Manager for Exchanges at Boston University Study Abroad. As a Program Manager Jessica manages Boston University’s inbound and outbound exchange programs. Jessica is responsible for the admissions process for outgoing students, including advising, application review, admissions decisions and enrollment retention. Jessica also manages the inbound exchange application process, serves as the primary advisor to all inbound students, and designs and implements orientation, co-curricular and cultural programing, work closely with the International Students & Scholars Office and other BU departments. In addition Jessica manages communication with exchange partner institutions. Prior to joining BU, Jessica worked at Merrimack College most recently as the Assistant Director of Study Abroad and prior to that as a Study Abroad Advisor. Jessica also acted as a Resident Director for one of Merrimack’s faculty-led short-term programs. Outside of her role in study abroad, Jessica has also served as an advisor for domestic service and international immersion trips. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Education in Higher Education from Merrimack College. Jessica has been involved with the Boston Area Study Abroad Association since 2012.

Samantha LaCroix (currently on leave)
University Relations Director, EUSA-Academic Internship Programs

Sam LaCroixSamantha LaCroix, University Relations Director for EUSA- Academic Internship Programs, supervises the University Relations team and supports a collaborative working environment with other departments in EUSA to develop and manage internship programs in London, Dublin, Madrid, Paris and Prague for EUSA’s university partners, while striving for the highest quality of service. As a member of EUSA’s Management Team, she guides the creation and execution of strategies and initiatives that support program development and growth with current partners.  Prior to joining EUSA in 2007, Samantha worked at CIEE, in Employer Services’ Sales Operations and later as a Product and Event Manager for their Work & Travel programs. Samantha is pursuing a Masters in Innovation from Northeastern University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and International Business from Northeastern University.

Michael Lucerto
Development Director, EUSA-Academic Internship Programs

michael lucerto basaaAs the Development Director for EUSA Michael is primarily responsible for developing new academic internship programs at EUSA’s European centers in London, Dublin, Madrid, Paris and Prague. Prior to joining EUSA, Michael was the Senior Northeast Campus Relations Manager for CET Academic Programs and before that a Program Development Consultant for CAPA International Education. Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from American University, studying abroad in both Italy and the Czech Republic (as a Boren scholar). His undergraduate research led him back to the Czech Republic to pursue a dual master’s degree in International Politics and International Economics at Charles University. Michael has been part of the Boston Area Study Abroad Association since 2007 and is on the Board of Directors for the Fund for Education Abroad (FEA). He brings both organizations together bi-annually to raise scholarship funds through networking events like the BASAA Bowl-a-Thon and Sips for Scholarships.

John Crisafulli
Senior Education Abroad Advisor, Babson College

john crisafulli basaaAs an education abroad advisor at Babson College, John advises for undergraduate semester abroad programs in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Northern Europe and Oceania as well all graduate semester abroad programs. Additionally, John serves as the International Exchange Program coordinator for all incoming exchange students as well as manages contracts and agreements with exchange partners. In addition to his role in education abroad, John also serves as a member of Babson’s LGBTQ Action group and is a member of the Safe Zone trainer corps. John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication from Bryant University and Master of Science Degree in College Student Personnel from University of Rhode Island. John spent a semester in Galway, Ireland as an undergraduate student and has been involved with the Boston Area Study Abroad Association since 2008.
