Samantha Lee

Boston College Office of Global Education

Samantha (she/her) is a Program Manager at the Boston College Office of Global Education, working with outbound students studying abroad in a variety of locations. In addition to advising, she works on a number of additional projects including university outreach and developing programming and resources for returning students. Samantha developed an interest in the field of education abroad through her dual study abroad experiences in La Rochelle, France, and Prague, Czechia. Prior to her current role, she worked at Boston College as the Program Assistant and Graduate Advising Assistant. Samantha holds a B.A. in International Studies and French from SUNY Cortland, and a M.A. in International Higher Education from Boston College. In her free time, she can be found reading, watching sports, or exploring Boston.

Alicia Vinal

WorldStrides Higher Education

Alicia completed her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at Wheaton College (MA) and her Master’s in Administration of Higher Education at Suffolk University, and her undergraduate experience abroad in London, England lead her to be an advocate for and pursue working within International Education. She joined the International Education field, with a focus in Education Abroad, in 2015. 

Alicia has participated in the NAFSA Academy 16 cohort, the Region XI Leadership Team, the Region XI Consular Affairs Liaison (CAL) Italy and Spain teams and Region XI Mentor/Mentee Program. In her free time, Alicia can be found exploring local areas or hiking, and plotting her next travel adventure!
